Our Founder and Creative Director, Beth Richards, explains why Kinnon has partnered with The Hunger Project for over three years, and celebrates the global impact Kinnon and its incredible community has created already.
The Hunger Project’s goal is to end world hunger by 2030. Their approach is different – they see people living in hunger as the solution, not the problem. THP works to shift the mindsets of women and men so that they transform into leaders for the sustainable end of hunger. Then, through THP programs such as education, microfinance, agriculture and health, THP empowers people with the skills, knowledge and resources they need to break the poverty cycle themselves.
To date, and with you help, Kinnon’s contribution has provided the opportunity for 210 microfinance loans and financial literacy training to women in their focus countries, to empower them to make change.
